Competition Auditions

Does your child love to dance? Are they ready to take their training to the next level? The SDD Competition program is the next step! SDD students have achieved the highest levels of accomplishment and teamwork! We would love for you to join us.

Please note that minimum prior experience and training in jazz, tap and ballet is highly recommended or required for some levels prior to auditioning.  Our Competition Teams are well-rounded and train in all core subjects, thus must qualify for competition level training in ballet, jazz and tap levels. 

Our next Auditions will be for our 2027-27 Competition Teams, the auditions are planned for July 2026. 





Audition Attire:

Ladies:  Black leotard and black tights for the 11 & up audition.  Black leotard & pink or skintone tights for younger auditions.

Bring your ballet, jazz and tap shoes.  Hair should be secured in a neat low bun. 

Gentlemen:  Black T-shirt and Black shorts or pants.  Bring ballet, jazz and tap shoes.
